| Ethernet Performance Test Results |
The SW-515 has been independently benchmarked to RFC 2544, the industry-standard methodology for testing network switch performance. Testing was conducted using the Xena2544 automated test suite across all 5 ports in a full-mesh, bidirectional topology at 1 Gbps, using IEEE default frame sizes (64 to 1518 bytes) extended with jumbo frame sizes (2048, 4096, 8192, 9000 bytes).
Result: All tests passed. The SW-515 sustained 99.999% of 5 Gbps aggregate line rate with zero frame loss for 64–8192-byte frames, and 99.989% line rate (zero loss) at 9000-byte jumbo frames. |

Works as expected. Neat box. It was chosen instead of the Raymarine proprietary network switch but 5x cheaper.
