Position:                Marketing Assistant (Remote/Hybrid)

The Role

Brainboxes have an exciting opportunity to join our marketing team – we’re looking for a digital-savvy junior marketeer with a passion for bringing fresh ideas to life.

Assisting on multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and providing administrative support, your duties will include: writing copy, maintenance of our online platforms, helping with event management, and working closely with R&D to create technical documents and graphics.

Once you’ve settled in, you’ll have the option to work remotely (with an expectation that travel to the office will sometimes be required.)

  • Don’t worry if you’re not an industrial communications expert yet – comprehensive on-the-job training will give you the detailed product knowledge you’ll need to market our products confidently
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English are a must
  • Creative-thinking with the ability to review data
  • Experience with Adobe suite of apps is essential


Job Specification

Full time, permanent position involving:

  • Creation and maintenance of product specific marketing materials, including: photography, labels, usage guides and datasheets
  • Developing design features for new product lines
  • Website: uploading content, updating e-commerce, and using Google Analytics for SEO
  • Social media: maintenance of company pages
  • Assisting in the planning, booking and preparation of trade shows and exhibitions
  • General administration – within Marketing department and across other departments where required
  • Writing copy for press releases, e-mail campaigns, news items etc.
  • Assist in creation of digital assets for lead generation (e-books, whitepapers, etc.)
  • KPI reporting

Person Specification


  • 2+ years experience in a marketing role OR Marketing related degree
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Confident and an excellent communicator – able to work with various departments across the company
  • Competent with Adobe, MS Office, and Excel
  • Detail oriented, with a focus on consistency
  • Enthusiastic and energetic with a passion for marketing


  • Able to share portfolio of writing/graphic design examples
  • Experience with digital technologies
  • Interest/experience in videography
  • Proficiency in secondary language(s)


Hours:           9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (37.5hrs per week)

Salary:           TBD

Holidays:     20 days per year (increasing by 1 day for each year served up to a maximum of 5 days, total 25 days)
