This card provides 2 industry standard 9 pin RS232 serial COM ports in a low profile PCI slot with fly lead. As PCI is fully Plug & Play compatible the operating system or BIOS automatically configures the card ensuring conflict free installation.

We use these [Brainboxes Serial] adapters in our company (industrial automation, lots of serial stuff); they work as a regular COM port, we’ve never had any issues with them.
