CC-475 Description
This half size card provides an LPT parallel printer port and an industry standard RS232 serial COM port. The LPT parallel printer port uses the standard 25 pin female ‘D’ connector, whilst the RS232 port uses the standard 9 pin male ‘D’ connector. A second serial COM port is available on the flying lead header using the optional male 9 pin ‘D’ type serial cable. This card is ideal for print server applications. Six free PCI slots plus the Mother-board printer port allows up to 7 printers to be runsimultaneously to one PC. The printer port can be set to bi-directional mode, for scanners, file transfers etc.
