Brainboxes Managing Director to Feature in BBC Budget Debate

November 26, 2001 / News

Brain Boxes Managing Director Eamonn Walsh has been selected by the BBC to feature on its 2001 Budget Special coverage. Eamonn will be one of 3 UK manufacturing experts on the programme, and will be asked to give pre and post-Budget opinions and provide on-going analysis of the Budget measures as they are announced from the House of Commons by Gordon Brown.

Eamonn, who founded Brain Boxes in 1984, said ‘I’m delighted to have been asked to take part in this programme, and hope to give an insight into the Chancellor’s statement specifically from an IT manufacturing perspective. I look forward to seeing any measures Mr. Brown announces to assist our industry, given the problems other manufacturers within the IT sector have experienced throughout the past year.’

The programme can be seen on BBC2, with ongoing feedback on BBC News 24, between 3pm and 6pm on Tuesday 27th November 2001.
