Brainboxes launches first USB Multi Drop Hub

Liverpool, UK – July 2011 – Brainboxes, a leader in Serial and Bluetooth connectivity, is launching its first USB to Serial Multi Drop Hub. Multidrop enables multiple devices to be connected to one RS422/485 bus greatly reducing the expense, inconvenience and clutter of extra cabling while providing a neat, robust connectivity system. This multi drop hub allows convenient connectivity for up to 8 devices either locally, or across a distance of up to 1,000 meters, to one PC/system in effect creating a mini network.

The multi drop hub device is boxed in an industrial class metal case that is IP30 rated and has optional DIN rail mountable capability. They are supplied with our proven  in-house designed  software ensuring a great user experience and have lifetime warranty.

These industrial multi drop  versions can be used in various applications such as test & measurement, laboratory systems and many more.
