Brainboxes designs and manufactures a range of Serial (RS232 and RS422/485), I/O devices and Ethernet Products as part of a range of computer interface cards for test measurement, communication and process control. R&D Administrator
  • As R&D administrator, you will work with our technical director, helping with project management, and various R&D tasks described below.

  • You will be expected to manage small projects initially, then larger projects as you develop experience.

  • Arranging, chairing, making notes, sending actions for R&D team meetings, project meetings, training meetings, tech support meetings, staff performance reviews, etc.

  • Recording holiday/leave arrangements, and summarizing for the appropriate departments.

  • Preparing monthly R&D & Support Key Performance Indicators.

  • Arranging, chairing, making notes, sending actions for new product initiation, planning, and release stages and meetings.

  • Acting as team champion in promoting our Integrated Management System (ISO9001/14001), including continual improvement in all aspects of the Team’s performance

  • Other similar duties as agreed with supervisor.


Skills and experience required: 

  • Some experience in project management would be preferable, but training will be arranged for a suitable candidate.

  • You need an excellent level of literacy and numeracy.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Attention to detail is a MUST.

  • Full training and mentoring will be given.

Pay range: £15k-£20k dependent on experience.
