What is the maximum throughput that my ES/ED device can support?

FAQs

The maximum throughput that an ES/ED device can support is determined by several factors:

  • The maximum baud rate of the connection puts an absolute maximum limit
  • The baud rate selected
  • The horse power of the PC receiving/sourcing the data puts another limit on it

We have tested the ES-313 and have successfully streamed data at 115,200 baud to both ports and achieved at least 90% of the maximum throughput.
