Windows Server 2008 and Vista Service Pack 1 are the latest Operating Systems from Microsoft. Brainboxes have been working closely with Microsoft for the past few months to ensure that on the release of Windows Server 2008, Brainboxes customers will be able to move over to Server 2008 with full confidence that their serial requirements will be met. Our close relationship with Microsoft has also ensured existing Vista customers can confidently upgrade to Vista Service Pack 1, thus strengthening the compatibility between Brainboxes products and new Service Pack releases.

The Release Candidate 1 version of Server 2008 was released in early December 2007. In line with this release, Brainboxes are pleased to announce they are the FIRST Serial Communications Company to have a Microsoft Approved driver for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of this Server 2008 release.

Windows Server 2008 will be available to consumers in February 2008. In the mean time, customers with Server 2008 RC1 can be confident that when they upgrade to Server 2008 in the new year, their investment in a Brainboxes product will be one for many years to come.

Our latest signed Release Candidate driver package is available below for download. This driver is suitable for all PX, UC, UP, PM and CC part code serial cards in:
