Brainboxes RoHS Compliant Products
Brainboxes are able to supply fully RoHS compliant products. To verify supplier declarations on RoHS compliance, fully built products were sent to an external test house for X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) testing on components, using the Fischerscope X-Ray system XDAL. This technique is capable of determining percentages of different elements and is accurate to 0.1% Wt.

WEEE Directive Implemented
Brainboxes is fully compliant with the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) 2002/96/EC directives which tackle the increasing waste stream of electrical and electronic equipment and complements European Union measures on Landfill and incineration of waste.

EMC, CE and FCC Accreditations
All our product ranges are extensively tested by qualified external test houses to meet all relevant standards including EMC, CE and safety (UL/METL).  They can be safely placed into every market where these approvals are accepted.  We can assist in obtaining specific Country Approvals where needed.

ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard

We operate a Quality Management System throughout the company that meets the internationally recognised IS9001 Standard, and is subject to regular external surveillance. This ensures that every activity of the company is measured against the highest standards of quality in design, procurement and service delivery to customers.

Microsoft Signed Drivers
Our universal 3.3V/5V compliant PCI serial cards and PCMCIA cards have Microsoft WHQL approvals for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. We are leading the serial card world with our 64Bit drivers for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

Brainboxes and Microsoft Windows Vista
Windows Vista Beta 1, previously known as Longhorn, has been delivered to more than 10,000 beta testers, including Brainboxes, via the Windows Vista Technical Beta Program. In April, members of Brainboxes Research and Development team attended Microsoft Driver training at the Winhec Exhibition and Seminar in Seattle, USA. Brainboxes is actively working towards full compatibility of our drivers, thereby future proofing supplies of the whole Brainboxes range.

Microsoft Tech-Ed Europe Award Winner
Microsoft Tech-Ed Europe Award for best Mobile Computing Product was awarded to Brainboxes BL-565 Bluetooth CompactFlash Card and Brainboxes Bluetooth RS232 Adaptor at the Tech-Ed Exhibition in Amsterdam earlier this year.

Brainboxes has been named Manufacturer of the Year 2005 at the recent Elektra European Electronics Industry Awards.
